Define Over 900 Top-Level Entities Each Containing It's Own Unique Equipment, Personnel, Departments, etc.

With MaintSmart you may seperate data by top-level entity. What is a top-level entity? Perhaps some examples would best explain this term.

Here are some possible examples of a top-level entity:

  • Plant in a manufacturing environment
  • School house in a school district.
  • Building in a property management situation
  • A make/model of vehicle in a fleet maintenance operation

Get the picture? Most of the time MaintSmart users do not define more than one top-level entity, though we have users that have defined as many as 25 top-level entities as a way of isolating data stores for each buliding in a building maintenance operation.

Each top-level entity contains departments(optional), equipment, personnel, inventory, etc.

MaintSmart compartmentalizes data into top-level entities if needed. Create and manage up to 900 separate plants from one database!
